Retrospective
REGISTRAT-MAPI provides study design consultation and all services required to conduct retrospective studies. Retrospective studies involve the use of existing medical information rather than new data collection. Our previous experience includes conduct of retrospective cohort studies, chart reviews, clinical audits, health care database studies, studies using national survey data and case control studies. We are able to conduct multi-national retrospective studies using both large health care databases and information abstracted from medical records.
We have many years of experience in rapidly assessing the feasibility of retrospective studies. We do this using our database of information on international regulations related to the conduct of such studies and our network of physician consultants in different disease areas. Both of these resources make it possible for us to provide our clients with accurate assessments regarding the timing, cost and data quality of the retrospective studies that we conduct.
